I help people to see that they are not just who they are today, but how their past experiences and relationships have shaped the way they see themselves and move through the world.

In my work, I support people from all walks of life, including paramedics, doctors, and other NHS professionals, individuals who spend their lives caring for others, often while quietly carrying their own pain and exhaustion. I also have the privilege of mentoring women who have survived human trafficking, helping them reconnect with their sense of worth, safety, and power, couples to repair their connection, members of the LGBT community, and men to quiet the noisy self-critical voice and become their true selves.

When we fist meet Sandra we were on a brink of separation.
She helped us to communicate without judgment and acknowledgement of each others emotions.

Having been part of an incredible team on the Addiction Programme at The Priory Hospital in London, I supported patients as they began their recovery journeys and learned to understand the triggers behind their behaviours. I worked with people struggling with eating disorders, sex and porn addiction, alcohol and drug dependency, and love addiction. Alongside managing triggers, I also helped clients explore the underlying trauma and emotional pain driving their addictions — understanding not just what they were doing, but why the addiction had become a way of coping in the first place.

Sandra helped me to feel love for myself and to understand that the pain I was inflicting on myself was to distract me from deeper painful emotions.

I wrote this article for The CEO Magazine explaining how good mental and emotional practices can start with Psychological safety in the workplace. In an environment where employees feel safe to express their thoughts, ideas, and concerns without fear of negative consequences. When individuals are confident that their voices will be heard and respected, it enhances collaboration and promotes inclusivity and creativity.

Ultimately, prioritising psychological safety can increase job satisfaction, higher performance levels, and stronger team dynamics, creating a more resilient and effective organisation.

Enjoy the read.
